Access: Above the outlet dam on Keese Mill Road, Upper St. Regis Lake boat launch, or Lower St. Regis Lake at Paul Smith's College.
Portage: A complete "loop tour" of the lakes would includes a .6 mile carry between the northwest bay of Upper St. Regis Lake and the outlet dam on the lower lake.
Route Description: The entire loop is 6.4 miles of paddling - the 9 mile distance includes each put-in and the carry. This Adirondack Classic can be done in either direction and from any of the 3 put-in locations. Or, it may be a series of short-paddles.
