A beautiful stretch of river with an extensive winding stillwater channel which can be paddled in either direction.

Access: .7 mile portage on an old road from the parking area to the river, suitable for wheeled carriers. Optional take-out and parking area ta the lower end near the bridge.
Description: Private land borders most of the corridor up river from the put-in and a three-mile section near the bridge at the lower end. Rapids and a private dam limit the extent of your upstream explorations and effectively cuts the traditional 16-mile level down to 10 miles. the final 1.5 miles downstream section, before reaching the bridge, includes some fast water and rapids, which may be paddled or portaged on the right-bank. Look for the take-out on the right bank before reaching the bridge.
