8023 State Route 30 Paul Smiths, 12970Held on Wednesdays in January and February from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Join Brian McAllister of The Adirondack Birding Center for a morning snowshoe bird walk in search of the hearty birds that call the Adirondacks their winter home. We'll be looking for winter finches, woodpeckers, jays, chickadees and the occasional raptor on our extensive wooded trail system. Bring your binoculars, snowshoes and dress appropriately. We'll end our walks with a cup of hot cocoa in the VIC! $10 for VIC season pass holders, $20 for others. Snowshoe rentals available for additional fee. Please call The VIC to register.
