A driving tour of a still-mysterious Underground Railroad operation in which fugitives were concealed in a specially-constructed church, then smuggled through other stops and finally across the Canadian border twelve miles north. Sites associated with Ashbel Parmelee, Jabez Parkhurst, William Wheeler, Charles Bowles, John Dimick, Nathaniel Colver and Luther Lee will be visited. Tours arranged by appointment. Maps and written descriptions will be provided. Tours conducted by Dr. Peter Kivic, Ph.D., research historian.
