Built in 1903 as an Adirondack Great Camp, Eagle Island has been a summer home for Girl Scouts since 1938. Our unique island setting is ideal for aquatic activities of all types, and a ten-minute boat ride to the mainland puts us within easy reach of spectacular hiking in the Adirondack Park. All Eagle Island campers participate in swimming, boating, crafts and archery, as well as activities specific to their chosen program. Campers live in units of 15 - 25 girls, in platform tents or cabins. Modern bathhouses and showers are centrally located.

Camp Guggenheim is one of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ogdensburg's summer resident camps for teens! Camp Guggenheim is located on Lower Saranac Lake in the amazing Adirondack Mountains of New York State. The five special sessions at Guggenheim are specially designed for 12-15 year olds, while our famous Week 6 is developed just for 16-18 year olds. We welcome campers each week without regard to race, creed, color or national origin.
